Yes yes finally a proper update! Though I don't know how long this is going to be 'cos I'm lazy to update everything at one shot with all the peekatures. Reason being 'cos I haven't put them together yet.. TOO MANY! Haha. And yes I've been on Facebook quite a bit but that isn't the main reason I haven't been updating my LJ Disa! :p

So yes I am officially a graduate as of 17th September. Had my convocation at Perth Concert Hall and I took LOADS of photos 'cos there was my cam, my mum's and my dad's (handphone). Madness I tell you. So how does it feel like to be a graduate? The same actually.. nothing special. It pretty much feels like when I graduated from Poly actually although this paper I worked my butt off for (okay I could have worked harder) is definitely worth more. Anyhoos, a few of them came down 'cos [info]elcoholgraduated too! :) Not forgetting Edwina who ran off without taking a photo with me. Tsk. There were quite a few others but most of the people are graduating in Singapore next month (with a mortar board!). So yes as promised peekatures from the day. Went to school to take some in the day with the family too!

Hohoho. I made shepherd's pie today and we had it as part of our dinner just now. All thanks to Cliffy's super duper introduction and because my bro was saying he didn't get to try it the previous time. Heh. It was yum!

Look good? Huh huh? ;)

Anyhoos, exam results are out! And okay lah.. got more or less what I expected. So that's good enough. I'm happy!! :D Thank God I didn't just get a pass for IMC. Woot!

Ok will update soon again with more peekatures of lovely lovely clothes I've been washing my eyes with online. Heh haven't really been doing much, but I need to send in my resume to the rest of the companies tomorrow! Lazy to do it now.. Heh. Typical. Okie, teeeeveeeee time! :)

Yes.. I promised an entry with peekatures, so here they are! :D Looooonnnnggggg colourful entry ahead!

To continue from the last entry since [info]tanyalingleft, on Tuesday we met up with Kate and her daughter for lunch at Freo, followed by Amano's (her treat!). Was a good time spent catching up and lots of talk, as always. Heh. But I forgot I brought my camera until I was in the car home, so no pics with Kate and Hannah, but only with D and [info]reny!

So after that, Wednesday saw Esther, [info]reny and I heading to King's Park for a picnic under the hot sun but cold cold weather. We talked, did silly stuff and took quite a lot of photos. We were also chasing birds away 'cos once we whipped out our food, they started coming. Wahaha thank goodness no one was around to see us running after the birds. Then because we were sitting on this slopey area, this family who was on holiday suddenly came and the kids started rolling down. Wahaha damn cute lah. And after they left, Esther tried it too. I got evidence! Hoho. Give me something and I'll let you see.

After we left, we headed to Freo, again, but this time to finally catch Paris Je'Taime

We were a little late though, so we missed the first short story, Montmartre, and half of the second, Quais de Seine, but from what I saw, I thought it looked pretty good. My favourites though were:

1) Bastille - about this man who had a mistress, but when he found out his wife had some terminal illness and was going to die, he stood by his wife and fell in love with her all over again.
2) Quartier Latin - about this old couple who were getting a divorce and they met up at a restaurant. Kinda sad actually but you could see the love they had for each other by how they were able to push each other's buttons.
3) Faubourg Saint-Denis - about the love between an aspiring actress and a blind guy. Lovely. Natalie Portman acted in this one.

Quartier de la Madeleine, which is a vampire love story starring Elijah Wood, was super funny though! Haha was laughing almost throughout the whole story 'cos it was just too exaggerated.. Although it still is about love. And Porte de Choisy, this story about a chinese hairdresser was a just a bit weird.. watch it and you'll know what I mean. But overall it was still a good show 'cos there's lots more nice stories so it's definitely worth watching!

Friday was the South Zone gathering and it was pretty good I think. I didn't really mix around though 'cos I wasn't really in the mood.. Haha but still managed to hang out with a few people and that was good enough for me. We had plenty of food but I didn't take pics of them.. so no tempting you guys! :p

And on Sunday, I attended 8.30 service and then headed to Edwina and Nuno's wedding at Munja Gardens (which was a lovely little place) somewhere near Mandurah. The drive was about 40 minutes but it was good 'cos I managed to catch up with Joel Chng who kindly drove me around that day. Saw Serene and Azri who flew up for the wedding. And the wedding was small and simple but really lovely. It felt soo... quaint. Haha. 'Cos we were like in the middle of nowhere and the chapel was tiny and cosy. And it was really nice to see a friend getting married, the love they had for each other was so evident. Simply lovely! I wonder who's going to get married next! Haha.

Congratulations again my dear Edwina!!

Who am I kidding? Not coming onto LJ till my exam is over.. Haha. Crazy. But at least I tried.

Just 1.5 days more and I'm not even done with half of what I'm supposed to AT LEAST read. But I know many of you are going through trying to finish up your last minute revision too.. so for those of you lucky people who have no exams, this is from us.

Haha too cute. I can just about smell freedom, the sweet sweet smell of freeeedddooommmm. Then it's time to partay! And find a part time job to satisfy my shopping cravings and travel plans when I get back to SG. Woohoo! :D

Ok but what am I talking about? I'm not even done with the paper!! Haha okok. Dinner and back to books. ♥

I had my 1st (out of 2) paper today. Advertising Production. And I must say it went pretty well despite me waking up late (gasp!). I woke up just in time to wash up and head out of the house. THANK GOD! Haha but this paper was definitely Him and not me because as usual, I only started studying yesterday for a grand total of 5 hours! Haha. I was procrastinating the whole week because I didn't really know what to study. I mean, what do you study for Ad Pro? Haha well... bad me.. Awesome Him! :) I think everyone who knew I had a paper today was wondering why I was so relac 'cos I didn't look like I have a paper today, so they say. Is that good or bad? Haha

Anyhoos, had chill out night with my cellies last night. We watched Click and laughed and teared. All while eating Cliffy's yummy shepherd's pie, Lizzy and Mark's mum's sushi and donuts Jem and Becky bought. Shiokadoos. It was fun! :) And so cell has officially ended for this semester. Thank you loves for making Vibe Melville, Vibe Melville. It wouldn't be the same without each one of you! Cliffy, Jem, Becky, Lizzy, Mark, Denise, Jenn and Eunice. Love ya'll!

After my paper today, I came home and because [info]ivan_lim was still sleeping and I didn't want to sit in front of the com, I watched Mr Bean's Holiday (which my dad brought over). Well.. it was just.. Beany. Haha it's everything you know Mr Bean would do. After that, I caught TMNT! Woot! Finally! My bro brought it back from Jansen's for me 'cos he stayed overnight at his place. And well.. yah I wasn't expecting much 'cos everyone said it's not that good. And I agree, the storyline was a little rubbish and I much prefer the old school cartoon. But still it's TMNT! Cowabunga dude!

But watching those two shows plus the lack of sleep meant I concussed for bout 3.5 hours on the sofa. So I pretty much slept the whole afternoon away. Haha. I'm such a slacker.

Okay off to window shop (pun intended) before I go catch Shrek on TV. Shrek 2's on tomorrow. It's a good movie weekend I must say. Haha. Toodles!
