I went shopping and bought 4 pairs of shoes, 2 thanks to vouchers from colleagues. And the vest from bysi I've been wanting, also thanks to vouchers from colleagues for my birthday.

And once again I've proven my logic that when I'm not in a good mood, I shop. ALOT.

My cupboard is bursting and I have yet to get rid of my old clothes. I seriously need to sell them off.

Stress at work again, in a good way. I shall live and breathe the event the next wk and try not to let myself get distracted..

Sunday has almost come to an end, a new week begins with work that was left unfinished. So much work, so little time and no motivation. Tell me what am I supposed to do? I know. WORK.

I'm only halfway through the year and I already feel like I need a break although I had one last month, and I am comparatively less busy than the last year. Bah. Some pampering in line for myself this week, shall go for a nice pedicure just for the sake of making myself happier.

I miss being pampered by the boi.. Sigh.

Ciaoz.

What a way to end my day. Everything was going well and I managed to catch a quick lunch with Karen whom I haven't spent time with for a long long time :)

BUT one phone call turned the whole day upside down because of a bloody bitch. I've been bitching about her to Karen after it happened and just to the boi, but I just can't get it off my chest because I am so mad and irritated by the sickening woman! Seriously how do you talk nicely to a bloody rude and arrogant woman? I was controlling myself the entire time talking to her because she is the client, she is "queen". No matter how damn insulting she sounded, and how she tried to pick on something else when I proved her wrong (in my calm voice), just so she wouldn't lose face,  I could not answer back to her in the way I actually wanted to.

How do you be nice to someone who is so damn disrespectful? How do I not let the sun go down on my anger? Damn bloody bitch who's sucking up all my energy and happy thoughts. I've met so many rude people in this past 1 year plus that I've been working, but I never fail to be amazed at how some people act and think that everyone else around them owes them a living, like they are some god and we should be worshipping the ground that they walk on. SERIOUSLY. Why do such people exist?

My patience is really being tested and I really hate dealing with such unreasonable people. Why, why, why? I still have to face that stupid woman till the event is over. ARGH!

Lord, please help me have patience to deal with such people, and more.

There's too many types of people in this real world that I never knew existed, and I really need to learn how to deal and react to them. Sigh.

Something happened this week that warrants for a nice entry from me, complete with a picture montage which I have not done in AGES! The last time I did this was when I was still in Perth and actually could spare the time to slowly downsize photos and put them together in a montage. But well, I just had to do it for this, or rather, Mr Mraz! :D

So yes, after the crazy madness at work for the past few weeks, I'm glad I got to unwind and enjoy some extremely good music on Thursday with darling Marie and of course Mr Awesomeness himself, Mr Mraz! Woot!

We went there tired from work, but got into the mood once we got to the indoor stadium and saw the hoards of people. I was pretty excited the day before and the day itself 'cos I it's been a looonnnggg time since I attended a concert and what made it more exciting was it was Jason Mraz!

I was expecting an opening act, but no, he came out straight away and gave a solid performance right from the start all the way to the end which was slightly more than 1.5 hours, WITHOUT HIS VOICE CRACKING A SINGLE BIT! Now that's what I call a pro! He played his guitar, shook his booty, gave funny faces, danced around the stage, teased the crowd and sang his way into every girl's heart I must say, and with a powerful voice that sounded exactly like he does on the CD at that.

Plenty of highlights that night, with different renditions of his hit songs, which were AWESOME by the way. But i must say, the one that took my breath away was when he came out without his guitar and sang Curiosity. Woah! Blew me away with his voice, just his pure voice and that opera singing, just like on the CD. AWESOMENESS! I will never ever miss another chance to hear him sing live again if I can help it!

Anyhoos, some peekatures for you to peek at :)

Would love to share with you his performance, but I only managed to upload one video to Facebook so far (yes, it's him singing Curiosity), have no idea why I can't upload the rest! But well, nothing beats the real thing lah!

Okay enough gushing about Mr Mraz, now onto Mr Humpty!
If you haven't already seen the ads on the trains, read about it in the papers, or received my e-Flyer, The Living Courthouse is next weekend! Go to the website to find out what's it about if you don't know!

It's the one event that I've been slogging my guts out at work for, traded many hours of rest at home for, become mentally exhausted for and been terribly excited about when the publicity started to go out. It's good to see the hard work pay off and people start to pay attention to it. Quite a number of articles on the event came out on Friday, and after I did some googling yesterday, I found quite a number of random people talking about it on their blogs. So woots! Come say hi if you come visit The Living Courthouse next weekend yah! :)

Oh and yes, if you happen to go to the website, the opening flash animation is done by my wonderful Jojo Teo who's been hard at work doing some very important slides for us. And because her birthday was last week, she deserves special mention and a picture on this entry! Thank you woman! Love you muchos! :)

Okay and with that, I end my entry here. It's a long one but I hope you all enjoyed reading it as much as I had fun writing it. It's been a while since I wrote entries like this, and I do miss writing. Hopefully work will spare me a little more after the event and I'll be able to share more with you folks again on this miserly LJ of mine.

Till then, toodles! :) Off to watch Wong Li Lin in action!

P/S: I finally went running again today because the boi FORCED me to! But I'm glad he did :) I must say he's really been a great support during this crazy period. I love you baby!

Avenue Q was fantabulously funny, entertaining, matter of fact, infectious, relatable and just damn smart! The people who put these musical together is a genius! And to top that, the cast was REALLY GOOD. I give it two thumbs up. Seriously, if you can watch it. GO! Even the boi who is so not a fan of musicals ('cos he can't stand see people sing out of the blue for no rhyme or reason) loved it! :D

I was so tempted to get the num limited edition tanks that they were selling but it was crazily ex, $49.90. Madness.

Schadenfreude!

Avenue Q was one of the best things that happened this week. Crazy work weeks coming ahead. I need sleep. Sighs. Off to go rest a little before set up tonight.

I want to go shopping.

Toodles people.
